Belimy Avocats was created in 2020 at the Paris Bar by Delphine Nougayrède and Yulia Koroleva. Building on more than four decades of cumulative professional experience in global law firms, the founders aim to provide their clients with tailor-made legal support that meets the highest international standards.

The firm's activities focus on the following areas:

General business law (companies, contracts, litigation), with emphasis on cross-border matters;
Compliance with applicable regulations in the fields of competition, anti-corruption, anti-money laundering and international sanctions;
Immigration law, asylum law and international family law;
Russian civil law, company law, contract law and litigation.

The firm attaches particular importance to the public interest responsibility of lawyers and accepts to devote a meaningful part of its activity to pro bono services.

Delphine Nougayrède’s commercial and corporate practice spans over twenty-five years in global law firms, including ten as a partner. From successive bases in Paris, Moscow, Brussels and New York, she has built a robust generalist profile in international business law and was recognized as such in major international directories, including Chambers and Legal 500.

Since 2015, Delphine Nougayrède has been a lecturer at Columbia Law School in New York where she has also conducted research activities. She has authored two books and over ten research articles published in reputable international law journals (see publications).

Yulia Koroleva

Yulia Koroleva worked for 15 years in the Moscow and Paris offices of two global law firms. An advocate at the Moscow bar, she was admitted to the Paris bar as a French avocat in 2019. Yulia Koroleva’s main area of expertise is to provide legal support to companies, organizations and individuals with cross-border activities involving France and Russia. As a dual Russian-Israeli citizen who is fluent in Hebrew, she also aims to serve the cross-border legal needs of the Israeli community.

For several years, Yulia Koroleva taught comparative company law as part of the Master in Law program of Lomonosov Moscow State University.

The philosophy of Belimy Avocats is to promote access to value-driven international counsel for individuals and businesses, including SMEs and very small enterprises.

Fees are determined at the start of each assignment in a transparent and competitive manner with emphasis being placed, to the maximum extent possible, on cost predictability and fixed-fee arrangements.

The firm sets great store on compliance with the regulatory and ethical duties of lawyers in the fight against money laundering.

Part of its activity is reserved to legal aid and pro bono missions, including with a cross-border dimension.
